It all started when I was very young and found an old digital camera that my parents bought while on their honeymoon, and I used it all the time to take pictures. Then, on Christmas of 2023, I unwrapped my very first camera, just pure excitement. I quickly taught myself the basics and started capturing sports moments, instantly falling in love with the thrill of action shots.

Before long, I branched into portraits, where I discovered the joy of connecting with people through my lens. What began as a simple gift turned into Kalynn McGee Photography—a business built on passion, growth, and dedication.

Joining my school’s photography program has been an incredible step in my journey. Since then, I’ve grown my business so much, and it’s truly amazing to look back at how far I’ve come. One of my proudest moments was saving up to buy a new camera on my own.
